Inca Trail to Machupicchu was design by Peru Cultural Connection especially for people that don’t have enough time in Cusco at the same time taste the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, this trek still allows you to visit the most beautiful ruins along the way to Machu Picchu, Winawayna. Enjoy lunch before visiting and then continue through the Sun Gate for your first view of the Lost City of the Incas. You will continue down to Aguas Calientes village and have dinner at the best restaurant in town before heading to bed. For those who want a small taste of hiking the Andes, this 1-day hike with the next day spent at Machu Picchu can’t be beat

DAY 1: CUSCO – KM 104 CHACHABAMBA – WIÑAY HUAYNA – MACHU PICCHU:

To start our famous private Inca trail to Machupicchu without camping the tour leader will pick-up from your hotel then you will be transferred to the train station of Ollantaytambo; Where we’re gonna board the train at about 06:10 a.m., then we’ll continue the trip by train in a time of approximately 1 hour and 30 min until KM. 104. In the place, there is the access control to the famous private Inca trail without camping. Then, we’ll start the private Inca Trail, through the archaeological site of Chachabamba, and then we’ll begin the ascent of the mountain for approximately three hours to reach the archaeological site of Wiñayhuayna at (2,750 masl / 8,694 ft.). Where we will have a break and taste our lunch. Continuing our trek to the famous “Intipunku” (Sun Gate). From here, we might have the first view of Machu Picchu after our pictures, we’ll head towards the control point and then take our bus down to “Aguas Calientes” Town. Where we’re gonna stay in a comfortable hotel for one night.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO:

On the second day of the famous private inca trail to Machupicchu, you will visit and explore the famous Machu Picchu  Inca city. After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll take the first bus to the Inca city of Machu Picchu, after we present our tickets in Machupicchu checkpoint; we’ll visit the archaeological Inca site of Machu Picchu around 2 hours, Those who have tickets to huayna Picchu will have time to climb the mountain, which takes approximately 2 hours, round-trip then you will have some time to explore and enjoy by yourself. After a nice experience in Machu Picchu, we’ll have to return to “Aguas Calientes“, to take our train back to Ollantaytambo, where the transfer waiting for us to continue by bus to Cusco.

✘ Tickets for huaynapicchu : Huayna Picchu is the mountain that stands next to Machu Picchu. It is a 45-minute hike to the top. Going back down is quite steep if you are scared of heights. You would do this after your tour of Machu Picchu. The cost is $75. Arrangements need to be made at least one month in advance due to popularity. Please understand that the weather is out of our control.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

This trek does NOT include porters. You will be carrying all your own things yourself while hiking. Because of this, it is imperative to pack as light as possible. A light backpack is key to feeling great
